75 Obstruction of person acting in official capacity (1) A person must not obstruct an authorised officer, or person assisting an authorised officer (the assistant), acting in an official capacity. (a) knows the officer or assistant is acting in an official capacity; and (b) intentionally obstructs the officer or assistant. Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months. (2) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against obstruct includes resist and hinder.
