78 Show cause process (1) The Minister must not accept a statement of unacceptable impact unless the Minister has first complied with this section. proponent: (a) stating the Minister's intention to accept the statement of unacceptable impact; and (b) asking the proponent to show cause why the statement should not be accepted. Environment Protection Act 2019 52 (3) The show cause notice must specify the date by which the proponent may show cause. (5) The Minister must consider any response given by the proponent to the show cause notice in making a decision under section 76.
