36 Permanent declaration of protected environmental area (1) The Minister may, by Gazette notice, declare an area of land to be a protected environmental area (a permanent declaration) if the Minister is satisfied that: (a) the environment or an aspect of the environment of the area should be protected; and (b) the declaration of the area is necessary to further the objects of this Act.
