29 Purpose and effect of referral triggers (1) A referral trigger requires a proponent of an action to refer the action to the NT EPA for assessment in accordance with the (2) An activity-based referral trigger identifies actions that the Minister considers are likely to have a significant impact on the environment. (3) A location-based referral trigger identifies areas that the Minister considers are: (a) of significance because of a feature of the natural or cultural environment; and (b) likely to be subject to significant impact by actions.
