274C Reports of analysis (1) This section applies to a proceeding under this Act. (2) The production in a proceeding of a signed analyst's report specifying any of the following matters is evidence of those matters: (a) the analyst took, or received from a specified person, the sample mentioned in the report; (b) the analyst analysed the sample on a specified day, or during a specified period, and at a specified place; Environment Protection Act 2019 240 (c) the results of the analysis. (3) A defendant in a proceeding who intends to produce a signed analyst's report in the proceeding must send a copy of the report to the prosecutor at least 5 business days before the day set down for the hearing.
