187 Notice to owners and occupiers of land land is recorded under section 185(3). (2) The CEO must, as soon as practicable after the environment protection notice is recorded, take all reasonable steps to give written notice to each owner and occupier of the land who is bound by the environment protection notice of: (a) the recording of the environment protection notice; and (b) the obligations of the owner or occupier under sections 188 and 189. (3) The notice given under subsection (2) must state that the owner or occupier may apply to NTCAT for review of the decision to lodge a copy of the environment protection notice with the Registrar- General under section 185. (4) If all reasonable steps have been taken under subsection (2) to notify an occupier of land, the notice may be given by addressing it to "the occupier" and posting it to, or leaving it on, the land. (5) A notice is not required to be given under this section to an owner or occupier of land to whom the environment protection notice was issued under this Division.
