153 Retention and production of audit documentation (1) A person to whom a direction is given under section 142 must retain the prescribed documents relating to an environmental audit until the end of the last of the following periods after the audit report was provided to the CEO: (a) 5 years; (b) the period prescribed by regulation for that class of audit; (c) the period (not exceeding 10 years) determined by the CEO in relation to the audit and notified to the person. Environment Protection Act 2019 149 (2) The CEO may direct a person to produce a document that the person is required to retain under subsection (1).
