85 Registration of prescribed activities (1) Subject to subsection (3), on receiving an application for a registration that complies with section 50, the Authority is taken to have granted a registration for the activity that is the subject of the application to the applicant subject to any standard conditions. (2) Within 10 business days after receiving an application for a registration that complies with section 50, the Authority must notify the applicant— (a) that a registration has been granted; and (b) the standard conditions to which the registration is subject. (3) A registration remains in force until— (a) for a period of 5 years or any shorter period prescribed in relation to a particular activity or class of activity; or S. 85(3)(b) amended by No. 14/2025 s. 31.
