503 Saving of the Victorian Waste and Resource Recovery Infrastructure Planning Framework Despite the repeal of Chapter 13 by section 60 of the **Environment Legislation Amendment (Circular Economy and Other Matters) Act 2022**, until the date on which the approved inaugural Victorian Recycling Infrastructure Plan takes effect in accordance with section 37I of the **Circular Economy (Waste Reduction and Recycling) Act 2021**— (a) the State-Wide Waste and Resource Recovery Infrastructure Plan in force immediately before the repeal of Chapter 13 remains in force as if that Chapter had not been repealed and may be amended or varied in accordance with that Chapter as in force immediately before its repeal; and (b) a Regional Waste and Resource Recovery Implementation Plan in force immediately before the repeal of Chapter 13 remains in force as if that Chapter had not been repealed and may be amended or varied in accordance with that Chapter as in force immediately before its repeal; and (c) any guidelines made under section 427 before the repeal of Chapter 13, being guidelines that applied to the Plans referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b) immediately before the repeal of that Chapter, continue in force in relation to those Plans as if that Chapter had not been repealed; and (d) sections 424 and 426 as in force immediately before the repeal of Chapter 13 continue to apply as if that Chapter had not been repealed.
