474 Pending application for old permission to be treated as application for new permission (a) before the commencement day, a person had made an application (the ***old application***) for an old permission; and (b) under the new Act, there is a new permission that is the equivalent of the old permission; and (c) as at the commencement day, the old application had not been finally determined. (2) The person is taken to have made an application (the ***new application***) for the new permission. (3) The new application is to be determined under the new Act. (4) Before deciding the new application, the Authority must give the person a reasonable opportunity to provide the Authority with any further information that the Authority requires in order to decide the new application. (5) The Authority may treat anything done for the purposes of, or in relation to, the old application as having been done for the purposes of, or in relation to, the new application.
