42 Privilege against self-incrimination abrogated (1) A person in management or control of land is not excused from the duty to notify of notifiable contamination in relation to the land on the grounds that the information provided by the person as part of a notification might tend to incriminate the person or make the person liable to a penalty. (2) Any information given by a person as part of a notification under this Division is not admissible in evidence against the person in a proceeding for an offence or for the imposition of a penalty, other than a proceeding that relates to false or misleading information that is provided by the person in relation to a notification under this Division.
