368 Proceedings of the Governing Board (1) Meetings of the Governing Board must be held at the times and places determined by the Governing Board. S. 368(2) amended by No. 14/2025 s. 38. (2) Subject to section 368A, a majority of the members of the Governing Board for the time being, of whom one member must be the Chairperson or deputy Chairperson, constitutes a quorum of the Governing Board. (3) A question arising at a meeting of the Governing Board must be determined by a majority of votes of members present and voting on the question. (4) If the voting is equal, the person presiding has a casting, as well as a deliberative vote. (5) A meeting of the Governing Board may be conducted by telephone, closed-circuit television or other means of communication that does not require the physical presence of each member of the Governing Board in the same room. (6) The person presiding at a meeting must ensure that minutes of the meeting are kept. (7) Subject to this Act, the Governing Board may regulate its own proceedings.
