295 Authority to give notice of intention to exercise clean up powers in case of financial assurance Before the Authority takes action under section 294(2), the Authority must give the person who provided the financial assurance a written notice stating that— (a) the person has 20 business days (or such greater period as specified in the notice) to undertake certain clean up activities required by this Act or the regulations; and (b) if the person does not complete the required activities within the time stated in the notice, that the Authority will take action under this Division and may make a claim on the financial assurance for the reasonable costs of so doing.
