222 Independent assessment of amount of financial assurance (1) For the purpose of determining the amount of a financial assurance, the Authority may require a person to provide an independent assessment of a matter contained in the prescribed risk assessment criteria, within a period specified by the Authority. (2) If the Authority requires a person to provide an independent assessment under subsection (1), the person must pay any costs associated with obtaining the independent assessment. (3) An independent assessment required by the Authority under subsection (1) must be conducted by a suitably qualified person.
