202 When does a suspension or revocation take effect? (1) A suspension of the appointment of an environmental auditor under section 200 has effect— (a) for the period specified by the Authority; or (b) if no period is specified in a notice under section 201(4)(a) or the appointment is suspended until the fulfilment of specified conditions under section 201(4)(b), for the period— (i) commencing on the date specified in the notice given under section 201(4) or the date on which the Authority notifies the environmental auditor of the suspension, whichever is the later; and (ii) ending on the date the Authority notifies the environmental auditor that the environmental auditor's appointment has been reinstated or revoked. (2) The appointment of an environmental auditor is taken not to be in force during the period in which a suspension has effect. (3) A revocation of the appointment of an environmental auditor takes effect on the date specified in the notice given under section 201(6) or the date on which the Authority notifies the environmental auditor of the revocation, whichever is the later.
