191 Application for appointment as environmental auditor (1) The Authority may, in writing, appoint a natural person to be an environmental auditor in accordance with this Division. (2) A natural person may make an application to the Authority for appointment as an environmental auditor. (3) An application for appointment must— (b) provide any information required by the Authority; and (c) be accompanied by any prescribed application fee unless the person has been exempted under section 196(2). (4) The Authority may refer an application for appointment to the advisory panel referred to in section 192. (5) If the Authority considers it necessary for the purposes of determining an application for appointment, the Authority may require the applicant to do one or more of the following— (a) to provide further information to the Authority within a specified time; (b) to appear before the advisory panel for an interview; (c) to undergo an examination by the advisory panel as to the applicant's suitability for appointment.
