171 Residential noise enforcement officers S. 171(1) substituted by No. 36/2022 s. 49. (1) A council may appoint as a residential noise enforcement officer— (a) a person who is an employee, or each member of a class of employee, of the council; or (b) a specified person or each member of a specified class of persons. (2) An appointment under subsection (1)— (a) is subject to any conditions or limitations specified in the appointment; and (b) is subject to any prescribed conditions or limitations; and (c) may at any time be varied or revoked by the council that made the appointment.
