144 Definitions ***liable person*** means a person who— (a) holds a permission that requires or authorises the person to carry out a prescribed levy activity on premises subject to the waste levy; or (b) does not hold a permission that requires or authorises the person to carry out a prescribed levy activity on premises subject to the waste levy but should have held a permission for the prescribed levy activity; ***premises subject to the waste levy*** means premises at which a prescribed levy activity is conducted.
