77 Authority’s response to environmental audit report
(1) If the authority receives an environmental audit report submitted in
compliance with—
(a) a notice under section 76 (1); or
the authority must, within 20 working days of that receipt, consider
the report and by written notice—
(c) require the person who submitted the report to provide further
specified information by the specified date, not less than
10 working days after the date of the notice; or
(d) advise the person that the authority intends to take specified
action under this Act in relation to the activity assessed by the
audit; or
(e) advise the person that no further action will be taken by the
authority in relation to the audit report.
(2) If the authority requires a person to provide further information under
subsection (1) (c), the authority must take action under
subsection (1) (d) or (e) by written notice to the person within
10 working days of—
(a) receipt of the further information; or
(b) the end of the date specified in the notice under
subsection (1) (c);
whichever happens first.
(3) A person must not fail to comply with a notice under
subsection (1) (c) requiring the person to provide further specified
information by a specified date.
