57 Review of certain authorisations
(1) The authority must review a standard environmental authorisation
granted for an unlimited period at least once—
(a) within 5 years after the day the authorisation first comes into
effect; and
(b) in each further 5-year period during which the authorisation
continues to have effect.
(2) The authority must review a special environmental authorisation
granted for a specified period longer than 1 year annually.
(3) The authority may also review a standard or special environmental
authorisation at any time that the authorisation is in effect.
(4) After conducting a review under this section, the authority may take
action under this Act or decide not to do so.
Note Section 61 requires the authority to take into account certain matters in
making a decision under this section.
