12 Authority’s functions
(1) The authority’s functions are—
(a) to administer this Act; and
(b) any other function given to the authority by this Act or another
territory law.
(2) In the exercise of the authority’s functions, the authority must have
regard to the objects stated in section 3C.
Note A provision of a law that gives an entity (including a person) a function
also gives the entity the powers necessary and convenient to exercise the
function (see Legislation Act, s 196 (1) and dict, pt 1, defs of entity and
function).
