#### 34 Disclosure of relevant information 34 Disclosure of relevant information > > (1) A person must not disclose any relevant information obtained in connection with the administration or execution of this Act or the regulations unless the disclosure is made— > > > > > (a) with the consent of the person from whom the information was obtained, or > > > > > (b) in connection with the administration or execution of this Act, or > > > > > (c) for the purposes of any legal proceedings arising out of this Act or the regulations or of any report of any such proceedings, or > > > > > (d) to the Children’s Guardian in connection with the engagement of child performers, or > > > > > (e) in accordance with a requirement imposed under the [Ombudsman Act 1974](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1974-068), or > > > > > (f) with any other lawful excuse. > > > > Maximum penalty—40 penalty units. > > > (2) In this section— > > > > relevant information means— > > > > > (a) information concerning the business or financial affairs of the person from whom the information is obtained, or > > > > > (b) information concerning any investigation under Division 3 of Part 3.
