#### 26 Definition 26 Definition > In this Act, authorised officer means— > > > (a) a person appointed as an inspector for the purposes of the [Industrial Relations Act 1996](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1996-017), or > > > (b) any other person eligible to be appointed as an inspector under that Act who is authorised, in writing, by the Secretary or the Minister to exercise the functions of an authorised officer.
