##### 78. Persons may be apprehended
Where an officer has reasonable grounds to believe that a person has contravened this Act, or any regulation or by‑law made thereunder, and that person fails or refuses to furnish his name and address to the officer on request, or furnishes a name and address that the officer reasonably believes to be false, the officer may, without warrant other than this section, apprehend the person and deliver him to a police officer who shall deal with him according to law.
