sec.3 Main purposes of Act
The main purposes of this Act are— to increase the amount of electricity generated in Queensland in a way that is cost-effective, safe, secure and reliable; and to facilitate and support the efficient and coordinated augmentation of the national transmission grid in Queensland to accommodate the increased generation of electricity mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and to provide for support for workers in the energy industry and communities affected by the increased generation of electricity mentioned in paragraph (a) . s 3 sub 2025 No. 30 s 6
- (a) to increase the amount of electricity generated in Queensland in a way that is cost-effective, safe, secure and reliable; and
- (b) to facilitate and support the efficient and coordinated augmentation of the national transmission grid in Queensland to accommodate the increased generation of electricity mentioned in paragraph (a) ; and
- (c) to provide for support for workers in the energy industry and communities affected by the increased generation of electricity mentioned in paragraph (a) .
