sec.191 Application of s 179A
Section 179A continues to apply in relation to acts done, or omissions made, by Powerlink in relation to a proposed REZ, within the meaning of that section, during the period mentioned in section 179A(3)(b). From the commencement, section 179A applies as if— a reference to a part of Queensland to be declared to be a REZ included a reference to a part of a Queensland region to be declared to be a regional energy hub (a proposed hub ); and a reference to a transmission network to be the REZ transmission network for a proposed REZ included a reference to a transmission network to be the hub transmission network for a proposed hub; and a reference to transmission assets that are to be REZ controlled assets for a proposed REZ included a reference to transmission assets that are to be the hub controlled assets for a proposed hub; and the reference in section 179A(3)(b)(ii)(A) to when the proposed REZ is declared to be a REZ included a reference to when the proposed REZ or proposed hub is declared to be a regional energy hub. s 191 ins 2025 No. 30 s 68 (sec.191-ssec.1) Section 179A continues to apply in relation to acts done, or omissions made, by Powerlink in relation to a proposed REZ, within the meaning of that section, during the period mentioned in section 179A(3)(b). (sec.191-ssec.2) From the commencement, section 179A applies as if— a reference to a part of Queensland to be declared to be a REZ included a reference to a part of a Queensland region to be declared to be a regional energy hub (a proposed hub ); and a reference to a transmission network to be the REZ transmission network for a proposed REZ included a reference to a transmission network to be the hub transmission network for a proposed hub; and a reference to transmission assets that are to be REZ controlled assets for a proposed REZ included a reference to transmission assets that are to be the hub controlled assets for a proposed hub; and the reference in section 179A(3)(b)(ii)(A) to when the proposed REZ is declared to be a REZ included a reference to when the proposed REZ or proposed hub is declared to be a regional energy hub.
- (a) a reference to a part of Queensland to be declared to be a REZ included a reference to a part of a Queensland region to be declared to be a regional energy hub (a proposed hub ); and
- (b) a reference to a transmission network to be the REZ transmission network for a proposed REZ included a reference to a transmission network to be the hub transmission network for a proposed hub; and
- (c) a reference to transmission assets that are to be REZ controlled assets for a proposed REZ included a reference to transmission assets that are to be the hub controlled assets for a proposed hub; and
- (d) the reference in section 179A(3)(b)(ii)(A) to when the proposed REZ is declared to be a REZ included a reference to when the proposed REZ or proposed hub is declared to be a regional energy hub.
