7 Constitution of Board of Corporation

(1) There is to be a Board of the Corporation.

(2) The Board consists of at least 3 and not more than 8 Board members appointed by the Minister.

(3) The Minister must appoint Board members who, in the Minister’s opinion, have skills and experience that—

(a) are relevant to the administration of the Corporation, and

(b) will assist the Corporation in exercising its functions.

(4) At least 1 Board member must have skills and experience in community engagement.

(5) The Minister must appoint a Board member as Chairperson of the Board.

(6) Schedule 1 contains provisions about the members and procedure of the Board.
