### 52 Where process ends under section 51 former PMP may not accept first request for 12 months > > (1)  If the voluntary assisted dying process ends in relation to a person under [section 51](#GS51@EN) , the medical practitioner who was the person’s PMP may not accept another first request from the person within 12 months after the second determination by a CMP is made under [section 47(b)](#GS47@Hpb@EN) . > > > (2)  [Subsection (1)](#GS52@Gs1@EN) does not apply in relation to a medical practitioner if the Commission has issued to the medical practitioner an authorisation under [section 107(3)(a)](#GS107@Gs3@Hpa@EN) .
