### 124 Inducements and dishonest or undue influence > A person must not – > > > > (a) offer to another person an inducement for the other person to make a request under this Act, to give a final permission or to inform a PMP or AHP under [section 16](#GS16@EN) ; or > > > > > (b) by dishonesty or undue influence, induce, or attempt to induce, another person to make a request under this Act, to give a final permission or to inform a PMP or AHP under [section 16](#GS16@EN) . > > Penalty:  Imprisonment for a term of 5 years or a fine not exceeding 200 penalty units, or both.
