#### 36 Outline
Provision of case management services
(1) If a person is referred to a case manager under Part 4.3, the case manager will provide case management services to the person:
- Case management services is defined by section 37
- If the case manager is a contracted case manager engaged under section 58, those services will be provided in accordance with an agreement under that section
- If the case manager is Employment Assistance Australia, those services will be provided by way of the performance of the function mentioned in paragraph 19(a).
Case Management Activity Agreements
(2) A person who is referred to a case manager under Part 4.3 will be required to enter into an agreement with the case manager, to be known as a Case Management Activity Agreement (see section 38). If the person fails to enter into such an agreement, the person could lose his or her qualification for newstart allowance under the Social Security Act 1991 or his or her qualification for youth training allowance under Part 8 of the Student and Youth Assistance Act 1973.
