29 Directions and guidelines etc. to Council

(1) The Minister may, by notice in writing to the Council, give directions or furnish guidelines to the Council with respect to the performance of the functions of the Council. (3) The Council shall comply with any direction or guideline given or furnished to it under subsection (1). (3A) The Minister must cause a copy of any direction or guideline given under subsection (1) to be laid as soon as practicable before each House of the Parliament. (4) In the performance of its functions under this Part, the Council shall have regard to any advice given by a Counsellor to the Council under section 57.
