Tasmania regulation
These regulations formally amend the Emergency Management Regulations 2020 by giving the instrument a short title, stating it commences on the day it is notified in the Gazette, and declaring the 2020 Regulations as the principal regulations. The instrument also records that its amendments have been incorporated into the authorised 2020 Regulations.
Mechanically, it is a procedural instrument that changes how and when the amendments take effect and points users to the updated principal regulations; it applies to persons and bodies subject to those Regulations and is administered by the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management.
