60B Powers of arrest under this Act and Public Health Act 1997
[Section 60B Inserted by No. 11 of 2020, Sched. 2, Applied:27 Mar 2020] A police officer who believes on reasonable grounds that a person is committing, has committed or is about to commit an offence against –
(a) section 60 ; or
(b) a provision in Division 2 of Part 2 , or in Division 1 of Part 3 , of the Public Health Act 1997 –
may, using such reasonable force as may be necessary, arrest the person.
