82 Directions by commissioner to owner of land (1) The commissioner may, in writing, direct an owner of land in an area to comply with— (a) a bushfire management requirement for the area; or (b) a bushfire operational plan for the area; or (c) a bushfire management standard for the area. (2) Unless the commissioner is satisfied that there are urgent circumstances, the commissioner must consult with the conservator before giving the direction.

(3) The commissioner may, in consultation with the conservator, make guidelines for giving directions under this section in urgent circumstances.
