54 Rural fire brigades (1) The chief officer (rural fire service) may establish rural fire brigades for the rural fire service. (2) The chief officer (rural fire service) must determine the number of rural fire brigades for the rural fire service. (3) The chief officer (rural fire service) may also determine names for the brigades. (4) A determination under this section is a notifiable instrument.
