184 Release of volunteer member from operations (1) This section applies if the commissioner is satisfied that— (a) a volunteer member is ordinarily employed by someone else (the employer); and
(b) the taking part of the volunteer member in the emergency operations of an emergency service would cause significant hardship to the business of the employer. (2) The commissioner must release the volunteer member from taking part in the operations.
