12 Delegation by commissioner (1) The commissioner may delegate the commissioner’s functions under this Act or another territory law to a public servant, a member of an emergency service , a police officer or an emergency services support volunteer. (2) However, the commissioner may delegate the commissioner’s power under section 8A only to a chief officer.
