8 Implementation of safety management systems

(1) A network operator must implement the operator’s safety management system.

Maximum penalty—

(a) for a corporation—10,000 penalty units, or

(b) otherwise—5,000 penalty units.

(2) A network operator must ensure that the operator’s safety management system is brought to the attention of and made readily accessible to the persons involved in the system’s implementation.
