5 Network operators must ensure safety of distribution and transmission systems
A network operator must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the design, construction, commissioning, operation and decommissioning of the operator’s network, or a part of the operator’s network, is safe.
Maximum penalty—
(a) for a corporation—5,000 penalty units, or
(b) otherwise—2,500 penalty units.
