30 Provision of information by network operator—the Act, s 63Z(4)(b)

A network operator notified of proposed notifiable excavation work near underground electricity power lines owned by the network operator must—

(a) ensure that the person who notifies the work, or the person proposing to carry out the work, is informed of the existence of the Work near overhead and underground electric lines: Code of Practice published in May 2026 by SafeWork NSW, and

(b) give the person who gave notice of the work or who proposes to carry out the work a copy of the Code of Practice at the person’s request.
