27 Definitions

(1) In this part—

notifiable excavation work—see section 28.

planning approval means—

(a) a development consent within the meaning of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, Part 4, or

(b) an approval under that Act, Part 3A or Division 5.1.

power lines information means information given by the designated information provider or a network operator in response to a request by a person under the Act, section 63Z(1).

utility service means a water, gas, electricity, sewerage, drainage or telecommunications service.

(2) Words and expressions used in this part have the same meaning as in the Act, Part 5E.
