This order amends the Electricity Supply Industry Concession Order 2016 and takes effect on 1 July 2018 (cl.2–3). Mechanically, it incorporates amendments into the authorised version of the 2016 Order (cl.4–6). As a result, persons and businesses governed by the Principal Order have the legal concession rules that apply to them changed from that date, and this instrument is the legal vehicle that records that change.
