Tasmania regulation
These regulations amend the Electricity Supply Industry Regulations 2018 and take effect on 1 January 2022 (reg 2). They state that specified amendments have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Regulations (regs 4–7) and are administered by the Department of State Growth. The changes apply to people and businesses already subject to the Principal Regulations (reg 3); any compliance costs or operational changes fall on those regulated parties, and the Department is the decision-maker for administration and enforcement.
