#### 87B Provision and maintenance of information, documents and evidence 87B Provision and maintenance of information, documents and evidence > > (1) For the purposes of monitoring and reporting under section 87, the Chairperson of the Tribunal may, by notice in writing served on a relevant person, require the person to do any one or more of the following— > > > > > (a) to furnish specified information to the Tribunal within a period specified in the notice, > > > > > (b) to provide specified documents to the Tribunal within a period specified in the notice, > > > > > (c) to keep specified records including any documents specified in the notice, > > > > > (d) to attend a meeting of the Tribunal to give evidence. > > > (2) Each of the following is a relevant person for the purposes of this section— > > > > > (a) the holder of a licence, > > > > > (b) an officer of the holder of a licence, > > > > > (c) any other person (except in relation to a requirement to keep records). > > > (3) If documents are provided to the Tribunal under this section, the Tribunal— > > > > > (a) may take possession of, and make copies of or take extracts from, the documents, and > > > > > (b) may keep possession of the documents for such period as is necessary for those purposes, and > > > > > (c) during that period must permit them to be inspected at all reasonable times by persons who would be entitled to inspect them if they were not in the possession of the Tribunal. > > **s 87B:** Ins 2000 No 109, Sch 1 \[47\].
