#### 223 Personal liability 223 Personal liability > > (1) A protected person is not personally subject to any liability for anything done— > > > > > (a) in good faith, and > > > > > (b) for the purpose of exercising functions under this Act or another Act. > > > (2) The liability instead attaches to the Crown. > > > (3) In this clause— > > > > done includes omitted to be done. > > > > liability means civil liability and includes action, claim or demand. > > > > protected person means— > > > > > (a) the Scheme Regulator, or > > > > > (b) the Scheme Administrator, or > > > > > (c) a member or officer of, or a person acting under the direction of, the Scheme Regulator or Scheme Administrator, or > > > > > (d) a compliance officer.
