44K Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) displacement This Division and any regulation made under this Division is declared to be a Corporations legislation displacement provision for the purposes of section 5G of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) in relation to the provisions of Chapters 2D and 5 of that Act. Note for section 44K Section 5G of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) provides that if a State or Territory law declares a provision of a State or Territory law to be a Corporations legislation displacement provision, any provision of the Corporations legislation with which the State or Territory provision would otherwise be inconsistent does not apply to the extent necessary to avoid the inconsistency.
