35 Surrender of licence (1) An electricity entity may surrender its licence by written notice given to the Utilities Commission. (2) The notice must be given to the Utilities Commission at least 6 months before the surrender is to take effect or, if the licence requires a longer period of notice, as required by the licence. (3) The Utilities Commission may, by agreement with the electricity entity, shorten the required period of notice.
