102 False or misleading information A person must not make a statement that is false or misleading in a material particular (whether by reason of the inclusion or omission of any particular) in any information furnished under this Act. Maximum penalty: If the person made the statement knowing that it was false or misleading – 200 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years. In any other case – 50 penalty units.
