10 Objectives of the Commission The objectives of the Commission under this Act are— (a) to the extent that it is efficient and practicable to do so, to promote a consistent regulatory approach between the electricity industry and the gas industry; and S. 10(b) amended by No. 49/2015 s. 4(a). (b) to promote the development of full retail competition; and S. 10(c) inserted by No. 49/2015 s. 4(b). (c) to promote protections for customers, including in relation to assisting customers who are facing payment difficulties. S. 11 amended by Nos 62/2001 s. 70(d)(e), 25/2004 s. 4(1), repealed by No. 31/2006 s. 3.
