36Water plumbing equipment work endorsement

36 Water plumbing equipment work endorsement (1) A water plumbing equipment work endorsement entitles the licensee to perform electrical work disconnecting and reconnecting electric water cylinders, water reticulation systems, irrigation systems including pumps and oil fired heating and water reticulated air-conditioning systems to 1 000 volts AC or 1 500 volts DC. (2) To be eligible for a water plumbing equipment work endorsement, an applicant must meet the following criteria: plumbing under the Training and Skills Development Act 2016; 12 months experience in the work of a plumber; plumbing at a registered training organisation;

Electrical Safety Regulations 2024 27 (d) holds a licence or registration issued under the Plumbers and Drainers Licensing Act 1983; (e) if the Electrical Safety Regulator approves a training course for a water plumbing equipment endorsement – successfully completed that course.
